I have rather long entries for legend1 and legend2 on some graphs but they are drawn with these two side-by-side the legend1 gets truncated by legend2. Is is possible for me to place these on separate lines for these occurrences?

Currently, this is not possible. In fact, Routers2 actually truncates the legends to a set length in order to be sure that they will fit in the space available. Probably, the trancating length should vary with the size of the graph... this might be a good modification for 2.20?

That makes sense. Not sure if it is worth the hassle of a modification to the code. But let me ask you, is there a way to inject a comment into the graph? I think it can be done with rrdtool but of course it's Routers2 that would need to handle it. Anyway, a routers.cgi*GraphComment would indeed be a very nice feature, especially if it would properly interpret cr/lf and some formatting for color, bold, italics, etc!

That's a good idea for an extension - routers.cgi*Comment[targetname]: line of text to add...
The rrdtool interface doesnt yet support colour, bold or italics, but there is support for formatting and embedded linefeeds. I'll put this in the wishlist...
