This is all covered in more detail in the documentation shipped with the nagevlog package.
First, make sure your Nagios is installed, processing the command file, and has NSCA installed and working.
Install the nagevlog package on your windows machine.
You will need to define some passive services on your Nagios for the host depending on what logs you want monitored.
Define filters in nagevlog. The first filter to match wins so you can use this to work out which rule will be triggered. The nagevlog configuration specifies the NSCA server(s), and the Nagios hostname of the server being monitored. Your filters each specify the nagios servicename and status level to be set.
