Hello!

I am trying to use the downtime-2.0.tar with Nagios3.
Making a schedule works fine. But every time the downtime_job.pl is running, it makes a new entry with the same host/downtime. So I get every houre the same entry.

I think, it have to doo with the "my($DOWNDAT) = "$NAGDIR/log/downtime.dat"; # existing sched downtime"?!
That file is empty, and I did not find the code, where it should be filled?!

The downtime job reads the downtime.dat file to identify what existing downtime is scheduled to prevent it duplicating. It is possible that under Nagios 3 this file has changed or moved, and the script is now no longer able to read it properly. Hence you end up with the jobs being re-scheduled.

I would need to find out more about how Nagios3 logs downtime schedules to work on this. Currently, we run Nagios 2 here (and previously Nagios 1) and so I have only coded support for these into the script so far.
