1) When you shut down the server, it can result in the NagEvLog agent exiting abnormally. This is ugly but does not cause any damage.

2) It only uses the normal ascii syscalls and so does not support double-byte characters in messages. This is planned to be fixed.

3) There appears to be a problem with correctly identifying eventlog when you have more than the standard application/system/security logs. This is being fixed with high priority.

It has been fixed already in version 1.9 (latest published version v1.9.1; v1.9.2 in development). The 64bit version has this fix too.

The problem with non-ASCII character sets is proving more difficult to fix than anticipated as there are many places using char* to scan strings which cannot cope with double-byte characters. This is still an open problem but there is not currently the time required to work on it.
