Is there a public repository for sharing plans ? Wiki perhaps ?

At the moment, there is only this forum. If you'd like to post a plan here, then that would be great! Make sure the file has the .bp extension so that it can be attached.

The latest version (2.5) of the mod supports the Schematic (.schematic) and Ruins (.tml) formats as well; there already exist some repositories for these. Any of these formats encountered are automatically converted to Blueprint format when first loaded.

If we start to get a lot of Plans posted, I'll create a separate subforum (in fact, I might do that anyway)...

This is a mineshaft. How to build:
1) Dig a 3x3x1 (1 is the depth)
2) Step on the center block of the 3x3x1 from 1)
3) Point at your feet (the center block)
4) hold the wand in your hand with the blueprint set
5) Build the attached structure with rightclick
6) Turn 90 degrees counterclockwise (turn left
7) GoTo 5)
The outcome should be a vertical mineshaft. I've got the idea from here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs2i3k0mPDg building starts at 16:50 (almost at the end of the video). Just by turning 90 degrees between building the blueprints you get a better stairs placement.
The blueprint had a .cfg extension I just renamed it to .bp, hope it works.

This one is used to build out the horizontal shafts. How to build:
1) Step up to the wall in the vertical mineshaft somewhere deep
2) Stand facing the wall
3) Point at your feet
4) Hold wand in hand
5) Build with rightclick
6) Move forward till facing the wall
7) Goto 3)
You should get something like on the attached picture. The shaft is 4x4x5

This is a nice-looking design, and a good example of how this mod is supposed to be used.

Here's an idea; place these plans into a single blueprint file, then write a new plan that uses these to create the whole thing in a random fashion.

You can make it drill down a random distance, and randomly extend passages fro mthe sides for a random distance... of course you can call the shaft plan multiple times at different rotations so that there is no need for more than one click to build.

For an example of something similar, take a look at the 'dome' blueprint (which uses 4 copies of the quarter-dome plan at rotation), or at the 'tower' plan (which builds a randomly high tower with randomised contents). Also the 'tunnel' blueprint that bores a tunnel through a hill until it reaches the other side, and then stops.
