RRDTool v1.2 has some nice features, notably the ability to let me add 95th Percentile and Total details into the graph image (and have a line for 95th as well). In this situation I could even do away with the internally-calculated 95th percentile code. However, it only works in 1.2 so I'd need a lot of tests.
Also, the smoothing functions and least-squares line fit code are in RRDTool now, so I could even add a smoothed line and the trending line into the normal graph and do away with trend.cgi entirely! Again, this would be for RRD 1.2 only - and I'd need backwards compatibility.
It's too soon to dump support for RRD 1.0.x, but maybe in a year or two I can do so and greatly reduce the size of routers2 (and hence improve speed)
