Please note that, since the language packs are very new, we may need to add new items to the files before it goes 'live'. Therefore it may be necessary to update the language packs... I will make notifications here.
How to make a language pack for your local language:
1) Translation files (lang_xx.conf) will only work with 2.16b3 and later
2) A translation pack consists of the lang_xx.conf text file, and an icon set. If you cannot make the icons, then just make the text file and I might be able to use cut and paste to create the necessary icons.
3) Download the language template from (v0.2). Check the routers.cgi main page for updates to the template pack, though.
4) You will need to modify the various text, add the encoding charset (if necessary), and fix the icons (if you can). Note that the messages 6000-6999 are for in-graph use, and so cannot support non-8bitASCII characters.
5) When you have done all this, email the the file to me at
steve@steveshipway.org
6) If you want to test, you will need v2.16b3 or later, which is now generally available. Let me know via email if you find a bug in the language support code.
