I don't believe that a binary package of RRDTool 1.3.8 is available yet for Windows, so you would need to compile it yourself if you want version 1.3.8. This is probably too complex a task. There is a binary package for RRDTool 1.2.30 available, and you need to get the correct one for your version of Perl 5.8 or 5.10. Get the package rrdtool-1.2.30-win32-perl58.zip or 510.zip. This should come with installation instructions; usually it is best to uninstall any older versions (particularly perl libraries) first in case they conflict. |

Dear Sir, Actually , I am using MRTG Bundle 2.1.0 They are using # MRTG version 2.9.27. RRD version 1.0.48 & router2.cgi 2.14 NOW I can update router2.cgi 2.14 to router2.cgi 2.19 I want to update my RRD and MRTG to the latest release But I can not update MRTG and RRD IF I update that it does not work ,............. The latest updates available that you can use should be MRTG 2.16.2 RRDTool-win32-perl58 1.2.30 Routers2.cgi 2.20 These will all work together correctly. Although RRDTool 1.3.8 is available, this is source code only and you would need to compile it for Windows Perl 5.8 (The MRTG Bundle 2.1 uses Activeperl 5.8) which requires a lot of additional work, plus a windows C compiler. |

You will also need to replace the RRDTool Perl libraries. How you do this depends on how you have installed them; either they are installed in the RRDTool tree, or else in the site_perl tree. In either case, remove the old libraries, and replace them with the new ones, otherwise Routers2 and MRTG will continue to use the old 1.0 libraries. |
