In MRTG I Had a page with 1 interfaces of all my wan routers, very helpful to know in one quick look the usage of my WAN. How can I do that with RRD and routers2.cgi ? I try to create on cfg file with some include, but of curse I have a summary for all interface define in the original cfg file. thanks for any pointer to make that page. regards arno |

You do this via a dummy cfg files. This is a cfg file that Routers2 uses, but it is not processed by MRTG. To make this file, you can either use Include: to include the cfg files containing the required interfaces, and then use routers.cgi*InMenu[]:no and routers.cgi*InSummary[]:no to hide the interfaces you want (probably a bit laborious), or else cut and paste the required interface Target definitions from the other files. This will give you a pseudo-Device (which you can rename in the menu using routers.cgi*ShortName: ) which contains the various interface Targets and a summary. You can then customise it (hiding items form the menu, adding new summary pages, and so on) as you wish. |
