All 1. I've plopped the base cpu utilization lines into a config made by cfgmaker. It polls the Cisco 6500 but it only shows an average over 5 minutes. However, the command sh proc cpu sort 1 min will provide data every minute. I need that as the minute interval observed with sh proc cpu history reveals spikes in cpu utilzation up to 70% for 10 seconds but the 60 minute doesn't reveal that spike. How do I get a nice graph of the cpu utilization for the last minute for a Cisco 6500? 2. Also, I need to collect the number of tcp connections that occur on my Edge egress interface. How can I do that? 3. The workdir that holds all my html for all the interfaces on the 6500 are named 172.16.1.1_1, 172.16.1.1_2...It would be helpful to have the GigabitEthernet 0/1 instead. How do I get that to show up as the name of each respective html in the working directorh? Thanks! Matt |

You can probably just set interval:1 to get 1min intervals of polling, that should be fine, however... You mention html in a workdir. That suonds as if you are using native MRTG, not MRTG/RRD with routers2. In this case yuo can't use 1 minute intervals. Change to MRTG with RRD and a suitable frontend (eg routers2) |
