Hello Steve (& All) , I must NOT be seeing the obvious here .
Tia , JimL

confpath = ...snip.../router2cgi
...snip...

cfgfiles = */*.cfg
...snip...

group = yes
multilevel = yes
groupsep = :
...snip...

[targetnames]
#
cfg = RouteDevices
cfg/DSB-Servers = RouteDevices:ServerDisks

router2cgi/cfg# ls -1
DSB-Servers/
NO-CRON-local-Branchs-BW.cfg
cp-rtr01.cfg
cp-rtr01.ok
cp-sw01.cfg
cp-sw01.ok
...snip...

router2cgi/cfg# ls -1 DSB-Servers/
DSB-APPS01-disks.cfg
DSB-APPS01-disks.ok
DSB-APPS02-disks.cfg
DSB-APPS02-disks.ok
...snip...

But all I see in the Left Sidebar menu is ...

[G] cfg
CP-RTR01 ChenaPump CP-RTR01 ChenaPump
CP-SW01 Chena_Pump CP-SW01 Chena_Pump
FROM ALL LOCAL BRANCHES FROM ALL LOCAL BRANCHES
...snip...

Hello Steve , Figured this one out . I now have

[+] RouteDevices RouteDevices
[G] ServerDisks ServerDisks
DSB-APPS01-disks DSB-APPS01-disks
...snip...

the KEY to this was the hint in another post ...

cfgfiles = */*.cfg */*/*.cfg

I added the multi level cfgfile entry above and everything started working .
Sorry for the noise . JimL
