I have defined a menu item1 , that is a generated html file that contains hrefs & what not to interfaces that have had errors reported in the last hour . In routers.conf I've added ...
[menu] #item1 = http://hostname/url "Menu description" icon.gif #item2 = http://www.steveshipway.org/software/ "Distribution site" alert-sm.gif _top item1 = https://dsb-mntr01/router2cgi/graphs/In ... rrors.html "Interfaces with errors" alert-sm.gif graph
I noticed in routers.conf the ...
# Default router (device) # This must be the filename *relative to the confpath*. # The default is the first alphabetically. Can also be 'none' #defaultrouter = filename.conf
And was hoping this might be where to set this url be the 'default page' viewed . No such luck . Next I remembered seeing a 'Default device' in personal preferences , it has a drop down , listing only the defined config files , no joy there either . What or where am I missing to be able to accomplish this ? Tia , JimL |

No, this is not possible. The defaultdevice must be a Device (IE, a .cfg file) and not a [menu] item. However you can sort of trick it by creating a dummy Device (.cfg file) containing just the routers.cgi*Redirect: directive and a routers.cgi*ShortName: directive. This would need to be carefully constructed though as it would try to load at _top level rather than just in the central frame. |
