The rrd was setup from mrtg running with logformat: rrdttol and works without problems since ages. Currently running rrdtool 1.2.23. Many thanks for any hints to solve the problem Michael |

Hi Steve, all got it fixed. For the record, the rrd file was created with an older version of rrdttool. Replaced MAXIMUM with MAX in trend.cgi and after configuring the confpath in trend.cgi it started to work. Only problem remaining, what about rrd files created with newer rrdtool version? There might be a need in trend.cgi to check "rrdtool info ..." and set the variable accordingly? Greetings Michael |

Yes, there was a change between RRDTool 1.0 and 1.2 where the 'MAXIMUM' changed to 'MAX'. I think originally either was supported but now it's just 'MAX'. I'll get this fixed for 2.18b5 ... done. Thanks for letting me know this. We run a slightly older version of RRDTool 1.2 here, and trend.cgi 1.4 works fine for us in testing. |
