There are several different ways you can display your data using the routers2 frontend. A few of these are listed here.

Normal Graph
The normal graph shows Incomnig as a blue line, and Outgoing as a green area. This is the normal MRTG-style graph. You can suppress incoming or outgoing by using the 'noi' and 'noo' options.

Stacked Graph
This displays all the values as stacked areas. It is useful for such things as combining multiple interfaces, CPU stats, and so on. You can activate this by using the 'routers.cgi*GraphStyle[]: stack' directive.

Floating Bar
This displays the values as a floating bar, from the In value up to the Out value. Of course this means that Out>=In for all cases. You would us this for something like Ping RTT times (Max/Min) or other response time ranges. To activate this, use 'routers.cgi*GraphStyle[]: range'

Percentage
You can display the In and Out values as percentages of the MaxBytes value. If you have defined MaxBytes1[] and MaxBytes2[] then it will use these instead. This will result in a Y axis of 0-100, of course.
To activate this, use 'routers.cgi*Options[]: aspercent'. Remember yuo can only have one Options line, so append the fdifferent options to it.

Relative Percent (v2.15b6 and later)
This is slightly different from the MRTG dorelpercent. The value shown is the In value as a percentage of the Out value -- in other words, In/Out*100%. Only one value is graphed displayed. It does not display the In and Out values on a separate axis since this is not possible with the current RRD libraries.

Mirror graph (v2.17 and later)
This shows incoming above the x-axis, and outgoing below. Userdefined mirror graphs have the various sub-targets split in the same way, although they are not stacked. You can have a total or average line, though. To make a mirror graph, use 'routers.cgi*GraphStyle[]:mirror'

User Defined graphs
Using the 'routers.cgi*Graph[]' directive, you can define a graph which summarises the lines of multiple Target[]s. You can then define all the other options for this new graph, such as graph style or total, average and so on. See the documentation for more details. The 'Incoming' and 'Outgoing' graphs that are default-generated for a network device are examples of this sort of UserDefined graph.

Total and Average
These are only available when defining a UserDefined graph, with the 'routers.cgi*Graph[]: graphname withtotal withaverage' options. An additional line (or lines) will appear giving the total (or average) of the component lines. The Total option is very handy if you are making a Stacked userdefined graph and want to know the stack height!

User Defined Summary Pages
In addition to the normal Summary page, you can define your own summary pages which combine multiple graphs or userdefined graphs. This is done with 'routers.cgi*Summary[]: summaryname', similarly to the UserDefined Graph keyword. You can use the 'nodetails' option to make a more compact summary page (2 columns rather than one with details).

I hope this helps people with their ideas. The demo server has a few examples of these, and the doc/HOWTO and doc/EXAMPLES files have more help as well.
