If you are asking about how to monitor a particular device, have you checked the MRTG web site on ? There are a huge number of resources listed here, which contain links to HOWTO documents on other sites showing how to monitor many different devices. You may find the answer to your question here. MRTG has a number of bugs in previous versions. It is always a good idea to upgrade to the latest version if you have some incomprehensible problems -- this also applies to RRDTool, if you use an RRD backend. Timezone support in MRTG and RRD is a bit patchy under Windows, due to limitations of various Windows C compilers. routers.cgi has a workaround for this, provided all your routers are in the same timezone. |
