Sorry, still trying to understand exactly what you're after.
Do you mean -
1) hide the Target from the menu if it is inactive? - This shouldnt normally happen; you can get this effect using (3) below though
2) hide the target from the summary graph if it is inactive? (grey out the summary if no active targets) - 2.19+ does this if 'active' option is set, apart from the bug if none are active which is fixed in 2.20b1
3) hide the target from the summary page if it is inactive? (2.19+ should do this if 'active' option set)
# 2 would be the (iirc) equivalent of the functionality of 2.18b5 .
If that is the case then htat is what I'd like to accomplish .
to have the same display that 2.18b5 would have done with 'actvie' set to yes .
Addition; #2 does not appear to be a definition of what 2.18b5 was accomplishing in my case , with "routers.cgi*Options[_]: active" in a .cfg file .
The summary graph would not be published if there was no traffic on that port . All of my switches have all there ports configured 'UP' so they are always active . But in many of them there is no traffic & in the summary graphs an unpopulated ports graph would be missing .
