Hi. I am using nsclient++ with nsca agent.

How can i send external commands to Nagios server from Windows? I am trying to find a way to suppress alerts during scheduled reboot. I think SCHEDULE_HOST_SVC_DOWNTIME would do, but not sure how i can send it from Windows machine.

There's no standard way to do it - NSCA is only for processing external check command results. You'll need to write your own (authenticated!) method for passing general commands into the nagios.cmd pipe.

beside authentication, how would i pass general command to nagios pipe from Windows?

You would need to write a command server for the Nagios host listening on a TCP socket and a client for this to run under windows. Not a trivial piece of coding, although you could do it in Perl.
