Hello, I am trying to write a perl script to use as a nagios plugin. The purpose of the script is to read and report the errors per second on a given interface. I can run the script from the command line just fine but when Nagios attempts to execute this script it reports "return code of 255 is out of bounds". One thing I did notice is that the tmp file isn't being created/updated. But right now I am stumped and am hoping someone here can provide some insight. -Chris Noyes

Well, it was a stupid oversight on my part; permissions problem (with /var/tmp). I changed the directory (and a few other mistakes I found) and it appears to be working now.
