Hi,

I need some help. I installed NagEventLog and everything seems ok. (connection seems successful)
I'm interested only to monitor System EventLog. Now I can see only one Event but I would like to see in Nagios XI all System Events Log. When I tried to click on the place (to expand the view) I received "Active checks are disabled for this service" message. Is it possible what I want ? And so ... how?

The NagEventLog agent is an active agent, which means a passive service on Nagios. Hence, Nagios does not make active check, it simply receives notifications passed on from the NagEventLog agent.

You need to change the configuration of the Nagios Eventlog agent on the monitored windows host to select the messages you want to forward on. By default, it most likely only passes on Error messages, but you could change the filter to pass on all messages.
