The scheduler verifies the host names and service names by comparing them against the list of hosts and services found in the status.log file. It seems it cannot find an entry for BOFT-NAGIOS.

This may be because your status.log has just been rotated, and you do not have an entry for BOFT-NAGIOS yet.

You may not have use_retained_program_state and retain_state_information set? I will have to check - our system saves all the current states at the start of a new log file, very useful.
