Hi ! First of all, thank you so much for your plugin, and especially for sharing it Here is my issue : I use module recurring downtime 3.2 and Nagios 3.4.4, cron is scheduled for refreshing every minute. When I set up a recurring downtime on sundays, the downtime schedules itself for the next monday and tuesday as well ... But the recurring creation date (not the date/time of the downtime itself) is like 3/4 hours later. I saw on the web this should have been something you corrected in version 2.2 ... Since I'm on version 3.2, is it maybe something with the Nagios version ? Are you aware of this problem ? Regards Nico |

We stopped using the downtime_sched software a while back after moving to Thruk, which includes this functionality; so I've not done any development recently. I was not aware of any problem in the latest version; in the past problems have always been on edge cases, such as the last day of the month or the last day of the year. You might like to run your cron less frequently, as it will look quite a way ahead. Hourly, or even daily, should be sufficient. If you can post the relevant stanza from the schedule.cfg, and an example of a date when this behaviour was observed, I'll look into it. Steve |

Hi ! Thank you for your answer. I solved my problem by making the plugin schedule only the downtimes for the next day. I'll look into Thruk Have a good day Nicolas |
