i'm using the plugin check_rbl, but it doesn' change to status CRITICAL when i'm using a blocked IP-Address!

Can someone help me?

Can you let me know the hostname you are testing, and which banned list it appears on?

Also, can you confirm exactly how you are passing the parameters to the script?

The script has not been tested as thoroughly as I'd like (since I cant add and remove items from the RBLs at will) but it has certainly be tested with a couple of IPs and worked as far as I can tell. There may be an issue Ive not considered yet though so Ill look into it if you can give me the info.

the ip-address from the host I'm testing is 88.198.9.132, and I'm testing it on the spamlist from http://www.spamhouse.org!

when I'm testing the script manually then it works, but not implemented in nagios!

OK, so it works when run manually...

When you run from Nagios, what command definition are you using and what parameters are you passing?

Most importantly, how does it 'not work'? Does it still report OK, or does it always give an error (if so, what error?) or does it do something else? This may be down to the way you have configured the command to call the script.

yes, manually it works, but in nagios it still reports ALL OK!

the command definition is: $USER1$/check_rbl 88.198.9.132
