It's possible that you don'thave MaxBytes set high enough.
Try running the mrtg-pnsclient.pl script from the command line, as defined in the .cfg file, and see what the values output are. If they are larger than the MaxBytes number, then MRTG will store them as UNKNOWNs as they will be out of range. Alternatively, make the MaxBytes setting much larger and see if the line starts to appear (although you'd possibly need to have 'routers.cgi*UnScaled[ezwf]: none' then)
