Steve, I passed RRDs.pm but I can't see any graphics (switch information) When you select the switch/router. I only see the following; Traffic Analysis for 192.168.1.109 -- ddc2924 Last update: Sat Feb 4 09:19:46 2006 *.cfg: ./cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /var/www/mrtg' \ --global 'Options[_]: bits, growright' \ --global 'LogFormat: rrdtool' \ --global 'PathAdd: /usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.11/bin/' \ --global 'LibAdd: /usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.11/lib/perl/5.8.6/i386-linux-thread-multi/' \ --output /var/www/mrtg/cfg/192.168.1.109.cfg \ --ifref=ip \ community_info@192.168.1.109 File Created under: /var/www/mrtg/cfg/192.168.1.109.cfg / OK *.rrd: env LANG=C /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg /var/www/mrtg/cfg/*.cfg File created under; /var/www/mrtg/192.168.1.109_192.168.1.109.rrd / OK routers2.conf - checked configuration/modified as needed: / OK ============== If I ran only ./cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /var/www/mrtg' \ --global 'Options[_]: bits, growright' \ & update; files created under /var/www/mrgt/ and can see graphic. Any suggestions, what am I doing wrong? Thanks for any inputs! DDemirchi -almost there |

Which files are you looking at? Remember, if you run MRTG in native mode, it creates .gif, .html and .log files. If you run in rrdtool mode, then it only creates .rrd files. You need to use routers2 frontend (or one of the other frontends) to view the graphs, which are only created on the fly by the frontend. If you're looking for web pages created by mrtg, you wont find any. If you're getting broken images when trying to view the routers2 pages, tell me what error messages are being printed on screen |
