Cheshire Cat Computing

I am new to this and love the program will be a huge benefit to us! how can I upgrade my v 2.14 to v 2.16, the only file I see is a .tar and when I download it and try to use winzip on it I get an error "Error reading header after processing 0 entries" is there something I am missing?

The file availble for download form this website is a gzipped tar, .tar.gz, but it should be readable by winzip (provided you dont have a really old version). Try renaming the file to a .gz extension if it is a .tar. Make sure the file length is sensible (the lingths are given on the download page).

To upgrade your 2.14 to 2.16 you have a couple of options. You could do it by hand - just copy the necessarty files and make modifications - or (better) run the install.pl install script and tell it not to overwrite your existing configuration. Note that if you are using the Windows Open Innovations bundle then you need to check the default paths - the install script should be able to recognise it, but everyone's system is different.
