This feature is available in v2.16beta5 and later. Before this, percentiles and totals were not calculated in userdefined graphs. Steve |

thanks for the help. On another note steve, is it possible to retrieve a 95th percentile figure for a single month from say 5 months ago? Can routers.cgi create a graph for a past particular month with 95th percentile and total? regs, ezat |

Only if you enable the RRD Archiving feature. See the HOWTO for details on how to do this. If you dont use RRD archiving, then after 1 month the RRD file no longer contains the necessary information to generate the percentile number for the past month. |

This always causes confusion however I word it. It means, from today back 1 calendar month. ie, if it is archived on 13th April, it is for the period 13 Mar -> 13 April. The problem with previously saying 'last month' is that people thought it was the last calendar month -- ie, if run on 13th April, they thought it meant 1st March - 31st March, which is does not. Hence the 'rolling last month'. Here, we run the RRD archive every night at 23:55. The expiry settings mean that we automatically keep a daily archive for the last 2 weeks, and the monthly archive (1st of each month) back for 2 years. |
