I have heard that it is possible to download the ppd file for GD from somewhere, and then copy it to a windows box and install it that way rather than use the Internet method. Hwoever I don't know exactly how to do this or where to download the ppd file from (somewhere on the activeperl site, I think?)

Anyone here have the ppd file handy, or know how to achieve this? Maybe the ActivePerl website has docco on how to use ppm if you dont have an internet link?
