Yes it is possible. This is detailed in the routers2 documentation, see the HOWTO file. In brief, you can do it using an internal database or LDAP server, but the recommended way is to use the web server's own authentication. Then, for a user 'xxxx' you define a section in the routers2.conf called [user-xxxx] and in there put overrides for [routers.cgi] definitions. Thus, you can put 'cfgfiles = none' in the main part, and give each user a subset of cfgfiles they can view. See the comments in the routers2.conf for more options relating to restricting access which can be put into per-user sections. |
