1. Compile with 'make site-perl'. This will attempt to install the Perl libraries into the Perl global site-perl directory, so they can be automatically found by all other applications. This is my preferred way to do it.
2. Make sure you have the 'LibAdd:' directive in the .cfg files to tell the scripts where the RRDTool Perl libraries are held. And/Or, add the directive in the routers2.conf to explicitly tell routers2 where to find them. This appears to be Tobi's preferred way to do it.
In either case, routers2 will be able to find the RRD libraries (although the install script may well not be able to, but this is not a worry).
Future versions of the install script should make a few intelligent guesses as to where the libraries may be if they cannot be immediately found.Statistics: Posted by stevesh — Sat Mar 25, 2006 2:52 pm
