I've had some reports of problems with the RRDTool Perl library under SE Linux with the strict security settings enabled (the OS refuses to load the shared library for some reason) so you might want to check if Solaris10 has similar draconian security rules added.

We are a corporation that currently runs this on Solaris 8 where
it runs well but want to plan for Solaris 10.
